Mailtrap Blog

Spam Memes Collection

Spam is and has always been around. Rumors say that when Raymond Tomlinson sent the first-ever email in 1971, he consulted the Nigerian prince on the proper use of words. Fast forward almost 50 years and around 15 billions of spam emails are sent. Every. Single. Day.

But let’s not despair. Over the years we’ve invented (found in Moria) some pretty solid prevention methods.

But they do fail even the wisest among us.

And sometimes cause more harm than good.

We choose to threaten the spammers.

We seek revenge.

We tell others what to do about them.

We try to find some logic in these useless emails our colleague fills our inbox with.

Or we just delete them all, naively thinking it would solve the problem.

Some of us trust in the good intentions of senders.

Some are a bit skeptical.

Others do as much as they can.

Others just want to have a quick look.

Some just delete them at the spot. That’s what they say, at least.

Some stop thinking when they see them.

And at the end of the day, it’s always Spam.com that everyone blames for things they didn’t do.
